Péridisciplinarité du design

To gain a broader understanding of the subjects and issues specific to contemporary design, it is essential to examine, in particular, the conceptual and theoretical correspondences and overlaps that design shares with certain related disciplines, whether these stem from the humanities and social sciences or from engineering sciences and technologies.

This is precisely the aim of this book.
Bringing together authors, researchers and/or experts from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds, this volume compiles an alphabetical guide to key terms that design shares with other related fields and disciplines. 26 letters of the alphabet for 47 words and notes, representing as many chapters from which the possibility of a truly ‘peridisciplinary’ approach to design emerges.
